Hey hey!

We're talking about crochet tops today and how you're going to style this pretty detailed goodness. I have quite an eye for details and I totally love clothing which have textures and details in it. I personally feel crochet looks quite girly yet edgy at the same time. I loved the lemon-ness of my top and my candy pink pants was a hand in glove for it. To break the bubblegum look I chose to add the color tan to the outfit.

Tip: Tan can be matched with almost all colors giving the style a retro feel. Go ahead, you got a replacement for nude.

My casual outfit is usually never complete without a watch and this time I ditched my metal wrist belt with this casual and minimalistic Daniel Wellington watch.

Quick Pairing Guide:

Day look - Opt for a crochet top with shorts for a laid back look or pants for a casual day out.

Evening look - Opt for a bandeau bustier inside to show off some skin. Also, buy the crochet top in dark colors.

Greetings to All!

Don't we all just adore bling? I love to wear sequins and my most favorite is this sequined jacket. Every girl must own at least one piece of sequined clothing in her closet; it just looks fabulous! I see myself donning this jacket almost everywhere I can because #1 It's black, so you know, doesn't make me look like a disco ball and #2 Sequined jackets are super versatile. You can just throw on a pair of jeans and probably a tee with it and you're dressed up already.

I paired mine with an A-line floral maxi dress for a casual evening party. 

A minaudière is perfect for evening wear. I liked how mine didn't look over the top and seemed to blend well with the jacket but at the same time giving the feel it's supposed to. And well of course you don't go to a party without your heels on and I'm crazy for these blue ones. I am so obsessed with them that I try my best to avoid wearing them since I want to save them; forever. :P

Day Look - With pants/trousers, skater skirts.

Evening look - With maxi dresses, jumpsuits.

Tip: Invest in a jacket which only has a part of it as sequins rather than the entire thing being sequined. You'll be able to wear it more often.

Hey Hey Lovely People,

Floral is such a dainty print that it makes you look ultra feminine almost instantly. Floral print is a no-brainer to dress up as it looks gorgeous teamed up with anything. It can be worn in numerous ways which includes blouses, shirts, skirts etc. but I chose the pants because I'm more of a pants lover in general.

Tip: If you're buying floral bottoms and you're a bit on the heavier side, opt for dark backgrounded florals like black, navy blue rather than white, peach etc.

I went for the sheer black shirt as sheer fabrics look super delicate and complements my floral pants perfectly. When I think of any black dressing, pearls are the immediate next thing I look forward to style it with. This particular necklace was a hand-me-down by my mother and I love it to bits.

Quick Pairing Guide:

Day look: Sheer blouses/shirts for a classic look, tees for a casual look.
Evening look: Lightly sequinned cami would complement the pants wonderfully.


Tip: When styling the floral trend, remember to keep accessories at its minimum to avoid drawing off the attention from your key piece.

Day: Go for basic tees for a casual look, shirts for a more structured look.

Evening: Pair them with full sleeve blouses for a feminine chic look, blazer/jacket for a more sporty look.

I paired my maxi skirt with a lace tee to give it a girly feel but slicked my hair back to cut down on the overload of girly-ness.
