Today's ensemble is all about looking trendy and happy. I really adore the shoes i have worn here because it just completes any outfit teamed with it.
               As you all know stripes is all rage now, here are some quick styling tips for you to rock it - perfectly!

1. When choosing stripes of any color, as a tee or jacket or just about anything, add a solid pop of color with it. It's pleasing to the eye.
(Could be your accessories, shoes, colored bottoms etc.)

2. I personally think, Stripes go really well Lace. It gives an oomph to the stripey effect!

3. Stripes also go really really well with jewel-like accessories.
 (Visualize a striped tee with an oxblood color jewel necklace? Hot.Stuff.)

4. Stripes look the best as a Top or a Bag. Ofcourse this doesn't mean you cannot wear them as anything else.
(They look the best with above simply because its much easier to style it with other things.)

5. Last but not the least, If you happen to have blue and white striped something, try teaming it up with tan color. It looks g-or-ge-ous!

Everyone wants to look their best even on the warmest days and here is a quick guide for you look perfect and sassy all through this season!

Tip 1: Moisturize.
Do not think that you can skip this part because the climate will be already humid. Moisturizing is very important in all types of weather conditions. Choose a moisturizer with SPF, yes it does protect your skin to an extent from the excessive sunlight. Choose high/low SPF as you please.
I use- Neutrogena Face Moisturizer for Oily Skin with SPF 15.

Tip 2: Prep and Prime!
You very well know whats the job of a primer. It smoothes out your skin and doesn't let your makeup trickle down with the sweat. It is quite necessary for you to incorporate this product into your summer make-up routine as it will help your makeup stay on longer.
I use- L'oreal Base Magique.

Tip 3: Give a miss to your Foundation, say hello to Tinted creams!
Foundation of any base (gel, liquid, powder, cream) is a big fat no for summer. For daily wear try to use Tinted creams or BB creams. It is their job to subtly give a glow to your face and make it look fresh. If you need more coverage use concealer with it.
       But if you just happen to go for a short timed event you can use your desired foundation and set it with powder no matter what your skin type is because we all perspire, its natural.
I use- Garnier BB cream.

Tip 4: Brighten up your Lips.
However alluring those glosses, super creamy lipsticks or tinted balms are, its a no-no for summer, especially oily skinned girls. It will only make you appear more oily. Use powder matte lipsticks in bright colors to look happy and fresh.
      If you happen to have cracked/dry lips, use light petroleum jelly beneath your matte lipstick to make it look just fine.
I use- NYX soft matte lip cream in San Paulo.

Tip 5: Blush/Bronzer.
Creamy ones are obviously not allowed, go for powder ones. Try using natural tones- for fair skin (rosey), medium (peachey) and dark (orangey) to give you a summery flush.
      Bronzer means summer. Even if you skip the blush part and only apply bronzer you're just as ready and good to go!
I use- NYX Bronzer Powder in medium.

Tip 6: Your eyes!
Apply primer on your eyelids before doing anything to your eyes as in humid climate eyelids are bound to get oily. One more tip, if you're applying kohl or any colored pencil liner in your lower lash line be sure to apply primer under your eyes too, as the liner will spread and make your face appear oily.
                         In summer experiment with colors! Apply colored liner on upper lash line and smudge it using a smudging brush and with the same color, line your lower lash line. You're already looking hot.
I use- Colorbar I-glide pencil in Amethyst Spark.

Tip 7: Secret tip.
Any skin type, apply pure honey on your face and massage it in. Leave it on for 40 mins. Tanning will reduce and it will bring out your complexion. You can use this tip in all types of weather conditions. Honey is great for your skin as it removes all impurities, repairs your skin and makes it soft and supple. Do not worry about it being sticky it wont ever ever ever break you out cause i have acne prone and the most sensitive skin in this whole universe, and it makes my skin look awesome! Whereas it will nicely moisturize dry skin and make normal skin look healthier.
*it wont stop your zits, it will just make your skin appear glowy.

Tip 8: My favourite tip.
After a long day refresh yourself- Wet a towel-like napkin and keep it in the freezer till it chills. Remove it and spread the napkin on your face and relax for about 5 minutes. You can do this before applying make-up on, it will make your make-up stand out.

Tip 9: Exfoliate!
Every skin needs exfoliation. Use this technique instead of the usual exfoliator creams. Warm up some water and soak a towel-like napkin in it. Spread on your face and let the light steam open up your pores. After that, apply your face cleanser and clean your face in circular motion using the same towel. Wash off the cleanser will normal tap water which will be cold enough to close your pores!

Tip 10: You just want to murder that zit.
Summer might dishearten you with a few of those bad boys but do not worry. Apply pure calendula lotion/cream exactly on the pimples/zits or on entire face. It is very gentle and has great properties to soothe inflammed skin or painful boils or zits. You can apply on your body too where you get heat boils. And also if you get rashes on your face or body- use it! Its one magic thing, i tell you.

7. How to Apply
For both the brands:
Mix about a pea size with your moisturizer and apply dots on your face and neck and rub
in circular motion outwards.

8. Fragrance
M - It smells like.. mild vanilla? But not overpowering so do not worry.
G - It smells fresh and mildly fruity, but again not overpowering.

9. Woohoo's and Boo's

For Maybelline BB Cream
Woohoo's:
>>My skin looks even toned and glowy after application.
>>Stays for around 1 hour in outside mildly warm environment but after that leaves your skin with dewy finish.
>>Squeezing the product out can be totally controlled.
>>It is travel friendly.
>>Very lightweight on your skin.
>>Its good for daily wear as well as for summers since it has SPF 21.

Boo's:

>>Only three shades available, will definitely not suit all skin colors. I was lucky enough to get one closer to my skin shade (02 Radiance).
>>It doesn't treat your skin, its just for instant perfection.

*But i dont mind it, hence i skip the powder!
>>PLEASE do not apply this directly, any skin type, it will look flaky on your skin.

*Do not worry if it looks ghostly immediately after application, it will seep into your skin sooner.


Final Verdict:
Its perfect for those days you dont want anything on your skin and still want your skin to look almost perfect. But, I guess it wasnt just made for my skin obviously because it broke me out! Hence i will not be repurchasing this.

Final Verdict:
I dont mind if it doesnt give me proper coverage, but the overall look of my skin looks fresh. I loved the product and i liked its finish, ofcourse not better than Maybelline but atleast this didnt break me out. Hence, i will be repurchasing this.
