Today I'm reviewing Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick. The 9 to 5 collection is mainly focused on office going crowd that is why all the shades are very neutral and wearable.
      I have been dying to post this review but unfortunately I had got a mini attack when I thought I lost this beauty. But I found it in one of my shopping bags :| (you know that feeling when you have given up/forgotten something and you suddenly find it! Feels so precious and new, no?)

      Any which way, lets head to the review!

• It is feather light on lips.
• It will stay on lips for 3-4 hours with light eating/drinking.
• When you apply, you'll feel its creamy! Smooth application indeed.
• I have found my nude lippie finally! 
• Great pigmentation.
• Even if this lippie fades, it leaves a decent stain on lips.
• It doesn't transfer :|
• Affordable.

Effect:

Semi Satin Matte. 

(It looks little balmy on application. After a while it becomes completely matte. Its not completely opaque since it is not powder matte)

Packaging:

It comes covered in a secondary packaging of plastic with cool typography. Lipstick comes in a plain matte plastic case.

Swatch:

*The tint in the left picture was left after rigorous rubbing with tissue i.e Great pigmentation. The swatch on arm and lips was after 2 swipes.

• I really wish the cover had the same typography as on plastic. It would look classy.
• The formulation is so amazing I wish they had more than mere 5 shades!

I know my review for this product will just be piled up with other gazillion of 'em but i just cannot hold myself back from reviewing it. It's the most gorgeous lip color I have ever purchased and no other lipstick till date can compare to the effect it gives. This lipstick brightens my face and almost makes it look porcelain even without foundation on. Although it does have it's downfalls; so stay tuned and head on to the review!

Comes in a smart matte black capped bottle. Love the writing over it! Also you can see the shade you are using, since the bottle is of the color of the shade.

• Accentuates dry/flaky lips. 
• When im in a hurry, even though i crave to apply this lipstick and go, I dont. Because you need to carefully apply with the doe-applicator. (Well, lazy me.)
• If you go out of lips, annoying to remove.

I am head over heels for the final look of this lipstick and I am totally willing to overlook all the boos for it. Personally, I think no other matte lipstick will give me this look, ever. It makes your pout look so pretty and cute. Just be sure to exfoliate lips properly before application. I will definitely repurchase this product.

Anyway, to the review; When I purchased this product the first turnoff for me was the selection of colors. None of them to be honest pleased my eye that way. I just bought this well.... Because I love hoarding(*cough*) lipsticks. 

Product: Colorbar Take Me As I Am Lipstick

Shade: Flirtatious Pink.

Price: 699/-

Packaging:
Comes in a chubby stick. (I think chubby sticks are trending. Like Seriously. Clinique. Revlon, Now Lakme too.)

Effect: 
Its has a nice matte-cum-gloss effect but very moisturising.

• If you snack on or lick your lips even a teeny bit the lipstick goes away. Completely.
• After fading away it does not even leave a pretty stain or tint till you retouch. Leaves your lips fully bare.
• Very limited selection of colors. Won't fit everyone's needs.
• Not great pigmentation. 

Verdict:

For that steep price, it does not fulfill any of my needs. I dont even know how will I finish the entire stick since it just won't stay on my lips. I am definitely not repurchasing this product.

            Today I have come up with a review of the most gorgeous lipstick shade I have ever owned and it's by Rimmel London. I have always wanted to own atleast one of their lipsticks and I chose the Colour Show Off range which have velvet matte lipsticks and I must say, I'm craving for more. Let's begin with the review:

Price : Rs.415

Shade: Tell No One.
It's a classy coral shade with pink, red and orange undertones.

Packaging: It looks so adorable sitting on my rack.

Woohoo's :

• It is SUPER pigmented.
• Stays put for 4+ hours with light eating and drinking.
• After it begins to fade, leaves a pretty stain on your lips.
• It doesn't feel heavy on your lips after blotting.
• No lip liner is required as it doesn't smudge that way.

Boo's :

• Blotting is necessary otherwise it looks loaded on lips.
• You must exfoliate your lips before wearing this lipstick else your lips will look dry and flaky. (But then again, every matte lipstick requires this, right?)
• Shades are quite limited. Mostly brights.
• It is available at select stores.

Verdict:

I am head over heels for this lipstick, not only for its packaging but also for that feeling of looking like a doll each time I wear this. It's worth every penny and I'm definitely checking out other shades in this range.
I will repurchase this.
