Review: L'oreal Tech Ni Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo

01:04

Hello to all my Lovelies.

I'm bringing to you a review on a Dry Shampoo that finally hit our country & its by L'oreal! Well, for those who need a little information on what this darling of a product is; then read on.

Dry Shampoo's are a boon to oily scalped women (I know the pain) as they are designed to absorb the greasiness of the scalp and give them a bit of volume and hold. All dry shampoo's contain the active ingredient "starch" which on spraying absorbs the oiliness. No, you cannot replace it with a shampoo as a normal shampoo is meant to cleanse your hair whereas dry shampoo's are a quick fix. That doesn't mean other hair types cannot reap it's benefits. Its one product for all!
I was introduced to a dry shampoo almost a year ago and it was by Batiste and we all know dry shampoos = Batiste. I loved it to bits and regret it's non-availability in India. Let's see how L'oreal performs.

And that's what it looks like:

Packaging:

Comes in a deo-like tin with a spray nozzle. The cap is tight enough to carry for travel.

Price:

Rs.950.

How to use:

Roughly section your hair and spray from a distance over the area without concentrating in one single part. Spray only on your roots. After spraying take a brush and run it through your hair.

Woohoos:
  • Instantly fluffs up roots and makes them appear clean and healthy.
  • Very quick and easy to use for people in a hurry.
  • It is especially very good for girls with bangs and fringes since the sebum wont travel on your forehead and give you acne.
  • It's a great way to save your hair from frequent washes.
  • It's got light hold.
  • Smells fresh and decent. Not too over powering.
  • It's great for summers when hair tends to become limp the next day of hair wash.

Boos:
  • If by mistake you sprayed too close to the scalp then a white powdery patch appears on scalp which wont go until the sebum in your hair gets activated again.
  • Dry shampoo's make your hair dry and scalp itchy giving rise to dandruff and rough ends. It's best not to over use them.
  • If you have a reaaaaaaally oily scalp, L'oreal one doesn't soak up greasiness that well as compared to Batiste.
  • Its way too expensive.

Verdict:

Even though dry shampoo's have their own con's its a product every girl must own. Right now, L'oreal is a stand alone brand with a Dry Shampoo in India and I think it is a pretty decent product hence I will  repurchase it. I really recommend trying out Dry Shampoo's if you haven't done so yet so give this one a shot and you'll be amazed!
